The End Has Come
Thursday, November 2, 2000 03:44 p.m. Well, another football season has come to an end. We lost to the Sherwood Park Eskimos 16-0. What a shock to the system. This little 10 year old quarterback for the 'Shmos came out and on the fourth play of the game threw a perfect 40yd, perfect spiral to a wide reciever. Better pass than most High School quarterbacks. Well, from their they scored another touchdown, so by halftime we were down 16-0. (Kicking a convert is worth 2 pts at this level) The boys bounced back in the second half but, as usual the offence couldn't do anything. Yet again, my defence either wins it or keeps us in it. Oh well. Peewees, look out next year. My buddy and I are gonna bring home the Championship. All in all it was a most productive, exciting, and gratifying year.

Life can Suck and Rock at the Same Time
Thursday, October 26, 2000 03:48 p.m. Well 2 days till the big game. I already have butterflies. Why is it that ex-girlfriends suck so much. My ex already has a new boyfriend, not whats bothering me, but she's already sleeping with him. Jeesh. Plus she's now smoking pot, and drinking, and club hopping. What happened to the nice, sweet girl I went out with. WHO CARES. My new girlfriend "Jocelyn" kicks some serious ass. She's beautiful, smart, sensitive, funny, and everything else that I can think of but would need three or four websites to put it all down. My car could be fixed by 4:30 today. Thank God. Take Life Easy People.

Cars Suck!!
Tuesday, October 24, 2000 01:43 p.m. Picture this, it's about 10:30 on Whyte Ave. Two people siting in a car, letting it warm up. The driver puts the car into reverse and... nothing happens. That's what happened to me last night. My transmission is officially screwed. Lucky me. I had to push my car out of the stall so I could take Jocelyn home, and then go home myself. Not very cool. Any way, I realize that I'm supposed to explain the blue hair. Well it was about 4 weeks ago. I told my team that if they won 2 of the last 3 games I would have blue hair for the playoffs. And the little buggers did it, beating the #2 and 3 teams in the league 6-0 and 8-6 against the Sherwood Park Eskimos and the Edmonton Raiders respectively. At least I match the uniforms. Well better go. Take It Easy!

Divisional Championship
Monday, October 23, 2000 05:11 p.m. Well it's been a while. We stomped the Seahawks 20 to 6, with there points coming on the fourth last play of the game due to a unnecessary roughness call, an offside, and a mental breakdown. Oh well. Can't stop them on every play. The boys played hard and won the game in the first quarter. They were a very different team than the one we had played before. This weekend we play the Sherwood Park Eskimos. The 'Shmos are a very good team, and we'll need our "A" game to win, but I have confidence. I've seen what they've got. We play @ Goldstick again. Gametime: 2:30. Lets Go.

New To The Neighbourhood
Thursday, October 19, 2000 03:20 p.m. Well since I'm quite new to this the page will be pretty plain for a while. Sorry. To those of you who know me, feedback and ideas would be appreciated. First a little bit about myself. I'm in my first year of University, I coach childrens football, have a new girlfriend (hermosa), and I currently have blue hair (will explain eventually). Since a large part of my life is centered around football and a bunch of 7-10 year olds, they will occupy a large part of this page. The team I coach is the Stony Plain Atom Blue Bombers. We finished the season with a 5-2-2 record, putting us in 2nd place in the division and fourth in the league. Not bad for a team of 22 players. We have our first playoff game this Saterday at Goldstick Park against the Edmonton Seahawks, a team we beat twice this year already. My coaching role is, I am the Defensive Coordinator, and not a half bad one, if I do say so myself with four shutouts during the season. but enough for today.
